At PeeWee’s Playpen we take pride in offering quality products and birds.  Our internet store is set up to accept credit cards through PayPal over the internet; we cannot accept credit card payments at bird shows, over the telephone or by mail.

Return Policy

Toys

PeeWee’s Playpen does not accept returns because the health and safety of birds is our top priority, we will not recycle merchandise. Returned items carry the potential of spreading bacteria, viruses, germs or other disease-causing pathogens that can be extremely harmful to your bird. We’ve instituted our “no return” policy to ensure that your bird is not exposed to unnecessary risk. We take pride in the fact that ALL our toys are “newly hatched” and the peace of mind that policy guarantees. Although we don’t accept returns, we welcome any and all questions prior to ordering.

Deposits on Birds

The only sure-fire way we can “hold” a bird for you is for you to put a deposit down on it.   We get many inquiries about our birds and our ultimate goal is to find wonderful homes for each and every bird as soon as possible.  Special arrangements to hold a bird for a specific period of time may be made for shipment or delivery at a later date but only after a deposit has been made.  Because we talk to many people about our birds, please don’t consider one of our birds as your’s until that deposit is made.

Deposits are not refunded should YOU change your mind.  If we agree to withhold a bird for sale to others for you and then you later, prior to delivery, change your mind, it’s not our fault.  On the other hand, if something should happen to the bird prior to your taking possession of the bird, we are happy to either refund your money or apply that deposit to another bird – whichever you choose – the difference in price and the balance due may change and would be the buyer’s responsibility

Shipping Birds

Payment for birds that require shipping should be received and have time to clear the bank prior to the shipping date. 

Birds will not ship until the purchase & shipping funds have cleared the bank.

All shipping charges will be the expense of the buyer and will be paid for prior to shipping and in time to clear the bank.

Pay Pal Purchases & Refunds regarding BIRD PURCHASES.

Please contact us prior to sending payment so that we may discuss with you the correct total.  For our customer’s convenience we are happy to accept PayPal payments for our pet birds.  The 3% service charge that is charged to us by PayPal will be added to your total order.  The 3% fee applies to down payments or payments in full on a bird when using Paypal.  

As with check or money order bird payments, the payment will need to be made in time for the funds to be transferred from PayPal to our bank account (1st Federal Bank).

Refunds on purchases made with PayPal will have all fees deducted – we will refund the exact amount that was deposited into our bank account (1st Federal Bank).

Payments made in advance for birds to be picked up at a show must be verified that they have  “cleared” the bank prior to the day of the show. 

We are not able to issue refunds on unverified funds made through PayPal, check or money order. 

* NOTE:  PayPal payments are only accepted over the internet.  We are not set up to take orders over the phone or at bird shows, sorry.

Missing Packages

Orders should be received within 5 to 10 business days for Continental USA.  Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number from the automated FedEx Ground Home Delivery or US Mail system. Please do not discard this tracking number.

In the event that your package is missing, please contact us within 10 days of your purchase so we may investigate the matter further. PeeWee’s Playpen cannot be responsible for loss or damage claims made after expiration of FedEx Ground Home Delivery’s or US Mail’s period of liability.

Missing Items

Although we strive for perfection, occasionally we make mistakes on orders. Missing item(s) must be reported within 72 hours of receiving the order. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Privacy Policy

PeeWee’s Playpen respects your right to privacy and appreciates your business! All customer names, addresses and order information collected are always kept confidential. We do not sell or lease any of our customer information to any other businesses.

Security Statement

We take extreme efforts to insure complete on-line security of your valuable data and credit card information. We use Secure Servers (SSL with 128 bit encryption technology) for the submission of your final payment information. SSL has been proven to be safer than giving your credit card information over the telephone.

All information sent and received during a secure submission is encrypted for your privacy and safety. You can rest assured and shop in confidence with us. No personal information is ever sold to outside parties for any reason and is kept 100% confidential.
